Environment -
The client is a major financial institution here in downtown New York City. It is in process of moving from Novell to Windows architecture and migrating file-print services.
Requirement -
1) Solid Experience in Active Directory/Group Policies
2) Will require 6+ years experience as Windows Systems Engineer
3) Experience in client engineering / Support
4) Expert-level knowledge of Windows 2000/XP / 2003
5) Experience in replication/windows security / networking fundamentals
6) Experience with Novell Netware
This position would require federal background check and references should be made available if asked for.

QUALIFICATIONS

Researches, tracks and understands new web technologies to provide technical leadership in developing service applications and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to intranet and external Internet-related systems. Builds applications using Internet and Windows Development tools. Provides written design documents, test plans and test results. Manages, develops, integrates and implements related applications components, including front-end development, server-side development and database integration. Plays a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the applications. Establishes and communicates standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications. May work with outside vendors in developing tests to ensure feature functionality. Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

* Work with the web service team to develop, evolve and manage technical web site standards. * Assist in developing and maintain internal databases * Work with the Design to complete and QA html builds for internal and external projects. * Provide front-end troubleshooting support. * Assist in managing versioning of web assets like graphics, HTML templates, JavaScript, and style sheets in the repository. * Work with the team to maintain/enhance CMS publishing tools * Assist as backup for daily evening publishing and technical support * Keep up to date with new technologies. * Foster a collaborative working environment, and encourage new ideas from the team. * Assist with weekend/after hours call rotation |
